Listing Policy
Acceptable Listings
All gem and jewelry listings must meet the following criteria:
Authentic gemstones and jewelry only - no synthetic materials unless clearly disclosed
Accurate descriptions including type, carat weight, dimensions, color grade, and origin
Clear, high-quality photographs from multiple angles showing true colors
Honest disclosure of any treatments, enhancements, or modifications applied
Fair market pricing based on current gemological standards
Compliance with all applicable international laws and regulations
Prohibited Items
Counterfeit or fake gemstones and fraudulent certificates
Stolen or illegally obtained items without proper documentation
Items without proper export/import documentation where required
Endangered species products (coral, ivory, tortoiseshell, etc.)
Conflict gems or blood diamonds without Kimberley Process certification

Seller Responsibilities
Accurate Representation: Provide truthful and complete information about your gems, including any flaws, inclusions, treatments, or certifications. Provide clear photos showing gem characteristics.
Timely Shipping: Items must be shipped within 3 business days of confirmed payment unless otherwise stated in listing.
Secure Packaging: Use professional gem packaging with bubble wrap, rigid boxes, and tracking. Insurance required for items over $500.
Swift Communication: Respond to buyer inquiries within 24 hours during business days.
Documentation: Provide certificates of authenticity, lab reports, or appraisals when available or advertised.
Legal Compliance: Follow all local, national, and international laws regarding gemstone sales and shipments.

Buyer Responsibilities
Due Diligence: Research items thoroughly before purchasing. Study gem characteristics, ask detailed questions, and request additional photos if needed.
Timely Payment: Complete payment within 24 hours of committing to purchase unless alternative arrangements are made.
Professional Communication: Maintain respectful dialogue with sellers. Clear communication prevents misunderstandings.
Prompt Inspection: Inspect items immediately upon receipt and report any issues within 48 hours.
Honest Reviews: Leave truthful feedback about your transaction experience to help the community.

Dispute Resolution
We encourage direct communication first; if unresolved, our support team will review and facilitate fair resolutions.

Return & Refund Policy
Returns are accepted for misrepresented or damaged items within 7 days. Refunds are issued once items are returned in original condition.

Authentication & Certification
We strongly encourage certificates from GIA, AGS, IGI, AGL, Gübelin, or other reputable gemological laboratories
Sellers must disclose certification status and any treatments.

Basic Listings: FREE
Featured (7 days): $9.99
Premium (30 days): $29.99
Gallery Plus: $4.99
Transaction Fees
Under $500: 5% of sale
$500 - $2,000: 4% of sale
Over $2,000: 3% of sale
Payment Processing: 2.9% + $0.30

Account Guidelines
Accounts may be suspended or terminated for violations of site policies, fraudulent activity, or abusive behavior.

Intellectual Property
Unauthorized use of images or descriptions may result in listing removal or account suspension.

We may update these policies and will notify users of significant changes. Continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated policies.
